HI Again! I passed OCPJP Java SE 8 with 86%. I passed it on 1st March, 2017. I started preparing for it from the very next day I passed OCAJP which was on February 13th.

This certification taught me about various awesome APIs of Java. My favorites were Stream and NIO.2 .

Here is what I did for my preparation.

BOOKS

I read the OCP book by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff. I was really awesome!!

Mock Exams

I practised the mock exams by Enthuware. These are my performances in the mock exams:

Foundation Test : 73%

Test 1 :  63% (Failed!)

Test 2 :  57% (Failed!)

Test 3 :  64% (Failed!)

Test 4 :  67% (Passed!)

Test 5 :  67% (Passed!)

Last Day Test :  67% (Passed!)

OCJP Exam : 86%

Thanks Again, Jeanne and Scott for the incredible book and Coderanch for your support.

Done in two weeks?! Amazing!
Congratulations!

I'm still on it. And have very slow progress.

What about your job experience in Java? Have you used Java 7 and 8 features much before you began your preparations for the exam?
And have you wrote much code during the preparation?

Yes Viktor I have been using Java 8 for quite a while. I have worked with JDBC and Servlets before.
