I am trying to read excel file through java code.

But I am getting exception

Which jar files do you have in the classpath? POI consists of at least 4 jar files, and possibly some more, depending on which features you use.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/poi/ss/usermodel/DataValidationHelper


Make sure the jar file with the class named in the error message is on the classpath.
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
