I'm working on my first Java Web application job, I'm designing the application using Netbeans and Tomcat
my client's server provider is on vps.us, and he didn't install Java web applications on the server before
and I don't know how to deploy the application on the server
How do I explain to him how to deploy the application on his server, and is there is articles or something explains how to do that that ?

I think best answers will found in the official tomcat site
try this link:

https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/deployer-howto.html
