WebLogic Server 10.0 Tech Preview:

WebLogic Server 10.0 is intended to support Java EE 5 at the time of general availability. However, this WebLogic Server 10.0 Tech Preview release is not Java EE 5 compliant.

WLS 8.1 supports J2EE 1.3 (EJB 2.0)
WLS 9.x supports J2EE 1.4 (EJB 2.1)

If you are interested in WebLogic's EJB 3.0 persistence, you may want to search for more information on http://edocs.bea.com and http://dev2dev.bea.com/ . Note that BEA Kodo is BEA System's implementation of Sun's Enterprise JavaBeans Persistence 3.0 (JPA) and Java Data Objects (JDO) specifications for the transparent persistence of Java objects.
