Hi community,

i want to add a default value to a form:textfield.
But it doesn't work with the attribute "Value=""".

The Attribute "Value=""" works with form:input.

But it doesn't work with form:textarea.

I hope you can help me.

Greetings

Resolved.

Since Spring 4.0, the framework doesnt accept values in form:textarea.
In this case, you have to work with average HTML instead.

Why not initialize the value in the Controller, and have it passed to your jsp, instead of having the jsp attempt to initialize the value?
