hello all,
can you tell me the steps that how to run a web application in weblogic.
i have weblogic 8.1.
when i start server,it asks "enter username and password.
how i know what is the username and password.
please suggest me.thank you.

Use the configuration wizard to create a new domain. Set the admin user and password to whatever you want. When you start the server in that domain, use your new user and password.
The online documentation has guides for deploying applications and any other task you could imagine.

Further to what Joe has mentioned
1) default username and passwords are weblogic/weblogic. Please confirm once.
2) If you have got a WAR file or an exploded directory structure which conforms to web app structure by specification then copy the same in your "applications" directory in weblogic domain.
The web-app will get hot deployed.
