WEBSPHERE PERFORMANCE!!!

Hello, I have created two App Servers (dev and test)in the WebSphere console and have an web application associated with the above mentioned app servers. I have used the default values when creating both those app servers. I have got some 10 servlets and 5 jsp's associated with the web application. When I run my web application it runs almost 3-5 times faster when I use test app server compared to on dev. I have exactly the same settings for both the Servers in the WebSphere console. I am going tru the same steps (i.e loading the same servlets) when testing on both those servers..Can any one of you help me witth this..

What I mean by "it runs almost 3-5 times faster when I use test app server compared to on dev" is , lets say I am invoking a Servlet on the test app server
For ex:: http://191.23.23.34/test/LoginServlet
and on the dev app server as
http://191.23.23.34/dev/LoginServlet
The same servlet executes 3-5 faster in the first case(test) compared to the second(dev). I have exactly the same seetings for both the app Servers and have the same webapplication associated with both of them.
But I am not sure why there is such a difference in the execution time. Is there something I am missing???
