hi gurus,
i need to send mail using session bean . i wrote session bean's mail sender method's code taking help of sun's doc, but in the dcumentation i has been mentioned that i need to create resource for TheMailSession JNDI then it will work but i am usin websphere application server which does not supports jdk 1.3 api. i mean i don't know how to send mail under webshpere environment....
please help!!!

HI,
Use the suns API for JMS to send email, ull need to a mail server for that, and there is no issue of websphere not having support for this as u use an external mail server.The last site we built was on WAS3.0 and it worked perfectly well.

JavaMail will be supported directly in WAS 4.0 too!
