Hi Everyone,

I would like to get your valuable inputs if TOGAF certification would be a value addition / game changer for testing professional with 12+ experience. I am not much into coding but interested and have the capable enough in understanding the architecture and flows, also have worked as Functional Business Analyst.

As we all know it depends on individual's attitude, efforts and knowledge, still, is it fine to expect that TOGAF knowledge and certification can help to give a boost to grow the testing career or to move a tester from testing to other profiles like BA's, System Analyst or is it an entirely different stream ?

Thanks
Rahul

I don't think it is. TOGAF is enterprise architecture. It's higher level than application architecture. Not something that BAs would use.

Note: It's a three day holiday in the US. So quieter than usual in the forums.
