<%<br /> Properties p= new Properties();
p.put(javax.naming.Context.PROVIDER_URL, "iiop:///";);
// CB Factory Name
p.put(javax.naming.Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,
"com.ibm.ejs.ns.jndi.CNInitialContextFactory");
Context ctx = new InitialContext(p);
Object ref=ctx.lookup("com/nd/Emp_master");
com.nd.Emp_masterHome home=(Emp_masterHome)PortableRemoteObject.narrow((org.omg.CORBA.Object)ref,com.nd.Emp_masterHome.class);
com.sun.jsp.JspException: Compilation failed
& lots of other errors.
Till i can understand is the prob is with narrow method. I have tried adding my emp_master.jar in the classpath ( this is done by 2 ways till i know ... 1. adding the classpath to the node on the server. & 2. just keepign the deployed jar file in websphere/.../deployedEJBs directory. now i have used visualage 3.5 to create my entity bean. when i tested in visualage's websphere testing environment, it is workign fine. So then i created deployed ejb jar & then deployed to websphere 3.5 enterprise edition server. everything works fine.. (datasource ..) Just somehow i am not being able to get home interface.
Please help..
