First of all thanks Ben for coming up with another interesting book, Couple of my general questions

1. How to make it easy to understand a regex pattern, Ex.  sample of password validation ,  ^(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*\d).{6,12}$
2. What are some of the poor performing regex searches? any performance tuning tips ?

What's brown and sticky? ... a stick. Or a tiny ad.
