Hi all..
I am planning to take up WAS 3.5 certification. But i want to confirm that, since WAS 4.0 is released has IBM introduced the WAS4.0 certification???
If so where can i get the information. also if not then when they are likely to be introduced.?
TIA
L G Goundalkar.

Hi,
Same here..I have decided to drop the idea of WAS Certification for the time being since I have heard the architecture of WAS 4.0 is quite different from WAS 3.5.
I am planning to go for VAJ Certification first (probably would take the test by this month end). This would help me get a hang on the IBM way of doing things. Also, VAJ4.0 not being a complete revamp of VAJ3.0+, it really doesnot matter if we get certified in this version of the test.
Hope this helps,

I too planned to take the WAS - 3.5 test few weeks back. However with the arrival of WAS - 4.0 and its compliance to the J2EE 1.2 model things have changed significantly. I am awaiting the arrival of the WAS - 4.0 certification which to the best of my knowledge has not arrived. The list of certifications can be checked up here
