Manning is running a Go tournament through January 30th. You can sign up on their site..

Everyone who signs up recieves digital copies of Deep Reinforcement Learning in Action, Grokking Deep Reinforcement Learning, and Reinforcement Learning in Motion completely free until the end of the contest. There's also a 50% of code buildyourbot50 to get half off Deep Learning and the Game of Go.

The contest is a Ladder format (So beat those directly above you to go up a step), with the top 3 winners winning prizes.

What do you win?
1st place wins a liveBook sub for one whole year (That's every book we've released) along with permanent digital versions of Deep Reinforcement Learning in Action, Grokking Deep Reinforcement Learning, and Reinforcement Learning in Motion.
Manning has a handy cheat sheet and step-by-step guide to building the bot and joining the contest at

No Go or bot experience required. Sounds fun!

Manning updated the tournament. It's easier to sign up now and you get 3 books/a live video to read until the contest ends. There's also a 40% off code.

You showed up just in time for the waffles! And this tiny ad:
