Unable to send email from tomcat

I have the mail.jar and activation.jar in the lib folder of the WEB-INF directory of my application. I have the bean Id configured as:


The emails are still not getting sent. What else do I need to do? Thanks.

Start by reading the short section on debugging in the JavaMail FAQ: https://javaee.github.io/javamail/FAQ#debug

The first step would be to turn on JavaMail debug mode as described in the first entry in that section. It will produce a ton of useful output in the log files which may help point out the issue. Or at least give you something to post here :-)
