Hi Moritz,

Are the testing and deployment concepts you cover in the book more for a team environment, or do they apply for an individual as well? If mostly for a team, how would a one person manage CICD differently?

Thanks!

For a one-man team, I'd do the same thing.

The question is really about the maturity level of the project; for a hobby project where I don't want to maintain a staging environment, it might (or might not) be overkill. For a professional run and developed project I'd definitively use CI/CD even if I'm the only contributor.

Huge teams (like, 20+ developers on a single component) might need something different again, but then they can likely afford their own tooling team.
