Hello Java World:
New here i am to try to do my first serious HTML script with embedding Java.
I have pulled together the better part but have problems displaying a calculated result.
hopefully comments will make it clear, any tips as to where to make change will be most welcome.

Welcome to the Ranch!

You'll have to post some code that we can look at.

That sure looks like JavaScript to me, so let's move the thread over to the JavaScript forum.

Well, actually, no they don't. There's an awful lot of code there. You didn't describe your problem in any way so I was hoping that meant you'd put some comments in the awful lot of code which described the problem and hopefully pinpointed the code which had the problem.

But no. So I'd strongly recommend describing the problem and also reposting a much smaller amount of code.

As pointed out already, that is JavaScript, not Java. Despite the unfortunate naming, they have nothing to do with each other.

The very first thing you should do is to look up how to use the browser Dev Tools. That way, you can set breakpoints and debug your code right in the browser.

That will make it much easier for you to tell us where the code is going wrong, or perhaps even see the problem(s) yourself.

Think of how stupid the average person is. And how half of them are stupider than that. But who reads this tiny ad?
