How do you use pagination in spring boot+hibernate based app?

Do you use Hibernate's pagination feature or Spring's? How to choose between both? or else you paginate at client side?
Assume there's an ecommerce app, when user requests for products under a category, if there are 500+ products, so all the products are fetched at once or only some first?

I haven't used hibernate's paging but the spring one is as simple as extending an interface.
