I downloaded popsql and when I tried to use it I got an error in the terminal that read: You must have 64-bit Oracle client library in LD_LIBRARY_PATH. So I went ahead and downloaded that from Oracle. I unzipped file using zip extractor. Then I tried to follow the installation instructions on Oracles website but I must be doing something wrong. I’m completely new to this. I have a good for nothing chromebook btw.

After installing following the instructions you have the same error?  If so, then you need to make sure the client library can be found.  I'm not sure but maybe you need to put a path to the client library in LD_LIBRARY_PATH.  Correct me if i'm wrong.

Hello Sara Books, and Welcome to the Ranch!

Could you give us more details about what is the problem?  For instance, "Then I tried to follow the installation instructions on Oracles website but I must be doing something wrong." -- this doesn't tell us much.  What exactly happened or didn't happen?  If there is an error, please copy the complete error message and post it here.

It wasn't my idea to go to some crazy nightclub in the middle of nowhere. I just wanted to stay home and cuddle with this tiny ad:
