I read the article and wanted to downvote it because of its poor quality, but the site won't let me.

A waste of time. There's nothing there that the Oracle tutorials don't explain much clearer and in more detail.
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
