Hi,
We're having a problem transforming XML with XSLs.
We are getting a class cast exception when we call the following line:
TransformerFactory transFact = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
We've ensured that the required fully qualified class name is stored as the javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory system property.
The exception we get is below.
Any ideas?
Is this a classloader problem?
This is really holding us up.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi,
We've solved the problem!
After much despair we resorted to checking the size of the xalan.jar files - the one we had downloaded from the Apache site was significantly smaller than the one provided with Websphere 4.0.
We put the xalan.jar file provided by Websphere in our WEB-INF/lib and it worked!!!
Cheers,
Steve
