The Problem is when I am trying to call one EJB from another EJB I get an java.lang.LinkageError.

"tamilxyz selvanxyz", welcome to JavaRanch!

Would you please review the JavaRanch name policy? In particular it says you must use a real name as your display name. You can change your display name here. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi,
I have solved this problem recently in one of my experience. I have a JAR file say x.jar, in the server classpath (websphere application server). Accidently, it was kept in two different locations and WAS had been loading the classes twice from the x.jar (in two classpath entries, by mistake). Though in 2 places i had the same x.jar, the class loading does not work properly in my case.

Hence i removed one entry from the classpath. Then it worked well. Try to see do u have any jar file given more than once in a classpath and remove it.

regards,
Tamil

Listen. That's my theme music. That's how I know I'm a super hero. That, and this tiny ad told me:
