I'm not able to use the JBoss Tools Update Site to install the Hibernate Tools into my version of Eclipse so I need to install the tools manually. When I google manual installation one of the top links describes a complicated process involving downloading several files from www.eclipse.org that I can't find. I'm talking about the link here: https://docs.jboss.org/tools/archive/3.1.0.GA/en/hibernatetools/html/setup.html
Isn't there an easier way to install Hibernate manually?

That page isn't very helpful, is it?

I found the first first by googling www.eclipse.org  birt-report-framework-2_5_0.zip.  Here's the URL

https://archive.eclipse.org/birt/downloads/build.php?build=R-R1-2_5_0-200906180630

You can probably do Google searches for the rest.  I don't know an easier way.

What about going into the Eclipse Marketplace (from Eclipse, select Help -> Marketplace) and search for Jboss Tools.  Mine came up with a plugin for the software.  Install from there.

Police line, do not cross. Well, this tiny ad can go through:
