Dear all,
Platform: Windows 2000 Advance Server
Application Server: WebSphere Advance Server 4.0.1
Web Server: IIS 5.0
Directory Services: Active Directory on same domain but different
I had configured Global Security in WAS 4.0.1 AE with Single Sign
On(SSO) enabled and using Active Directory as my LDAP Directory. Now 1) if I
already login to the domain, then I was allowed to access web resources 2)
if I was not login to the domain which I configured in the WAS 4.0.1 AE then
Basic Authentication will be pop up. After key in the user, password, and
domain then WAS4.0.1 AE allow me to access the page.
Everything looks OK. Authentication take place.
But when I try to use getRemoteUser() and getUserPrincipal(), it
always return null. Why???
Since I was authenticated, why can't I get the login user name?
Please advise.
