Hi,
I am using WebSphere 5.0 along with DB2 8.1 database. Both WebSphere and database are on the same machine (DB2 client is not installed). I created a DataSource (type 5) in the WebSphere and trying to access the database with sample JSP. I am encountering the following error.
SRVE0026E: [Servlet Error]-[SQLConnect]: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: SQLConnect at COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Connection.SQLConnect
(..stacktrace)
I set the classpath to point to db2java.zip in java12 folder. I am not sure whether it is a JDBC2.0 problem or do I need to have client installed on the machine where database server is running.
Can somebody help me.
Regards,
Naveen.

...maybe if you gave us at least part of the stack trace so we knew what wasn't getting linked. This could happen either because a class was not found or, more likely, because a dll wasn't loaded. But without more info, I can't hazard a guess.

...did you enable JDBC2.0 for the DB2. For DB2 version 7, jdbc2.0 is not enabled by default and need to run a batch file to enable it only after which connection pooled data source can be used.
