Hi, I spend a long time to set Virtual host in WSAD 4.0 in order to have 2 applications on the same server like: http://app1/index.jsp http://app2/index.jsp in vain for the moment I have 1 application working with an url like: <a href="http://server/<b rel="nofollow">myApp1</b>/index.jsp" target="_blank">http://server/myApp1/index.jsp Ok but if in this index.jsp I make a redirection using uri like /servlet/myServlet witch correctly declared and functionnal I lost auomaticaly the application name (myApp1) and be redirected to server root! //server/servlet/myServlet instead of //server/myApp1/servlet/myServlet It is the samre for images uri \image\foo.gif send me to server root... Where am I suppose to settle this application root/context root? am I wrong??
The key is to add a SimpleFileServlet to each of your apps. Search this forum for my comments on this subject--this is a pet peeve of mine with WebSphere as it caused several hours of frustration, like it's doing to you...
