I have been using Scala IDE. However,I read that Scala IDE is no more maintained.Which is the preferred way for working on Scala now? Is it IntelliJ or by installing Scala plugin in Eclipse or any other way
Thanks

Hi Monica

I strongly recommend IntelliJ.  You can get a free version and then install the various Scala-specific plugins yourself.  Or you can pay an annual subscription for the Ultimate edition  (perhaps your employer would pay?), which includes a load of plugins (incl. Scala):  https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/promo/ultimate/

You can get IntelliJ plugins for most languages e.g. I've also used it for Kotlin and Python, and there are also plugins for things like Spring, databases, web tools etc.  IntelliJ is very widely used these days and I much prefer it to Eclipse.

YMMV, of course. ;-)
