How do i get a thread dump for the running websphere server? Both on NT and linux? Something similiar to kill -3 or ctrl-break.
Thanks

use the DrAdmin
DrAdmin.sh -serverPort $PORT -dumpThreads , this will give the thread dumps on WAS4.x versions.

Do you know where the thread dump file resides? I thought it would be under \bin\logs but I can't find one there..

Thanks,
