I have a SpringBoot application that works fine on a MacOS 10.13 iMac, but on the current 11.1 version sending a JavaMail message, I'm getting:

Exception reading response.  Cause: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

I've even copied the entire Tomcat install folder from the computer that works to the Mac OS 11.1 computer that doesn't work. The "working code" does not work on the 11.1 computer.

I've checked:

Firewall rules (nothing is flagged)
Java Version (tried Amazon Corretto 8, 11, and even the Oracle JDK 8)
Disabled VPN
Tried different IP addresses using the VPN

There is another method in the service that works OK reaching out to the Internet, but something seems funky about the 11.1 Mac computer with JavaMail.

Would appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks,
- mike

I guess even with code and full stacktrace this will be hard to figure out. The posted exception seem to suggest some network issue.
