I successfully passed Oracle 819 exam on 18th Jan 2021. Here is my experience and feedback:
Like most of us here, i too started with Scott Selikoff and Jeanne Boyarski book and associated question papers. I then bought Enthuware mock exams for 819.
I found both the resources very helpful. This was my first attempt and i took 3 months to prepare.
Due to work related priorities i was not able to give straight 1-2 week into the preparations. So it resulted in relearning a lot of stuff again and again.
One important feedback that i want to share is regarding Test Center. I decided to appear for the exam from a test center, but i didn't find that experience very pleasant. There was a lot of outside noise, laughter and disturbance that eventually caused loss of concentration.
So I am not sure about rest of places, but if i think i should have opted for Proctored test from home.
Finally, i would recommend to go through the Book first and then the Enthuware mock tests. I found the last three mock tests being the closest to the real exam.
Best of Luck
Here is a GitHub repo containing detailed description of all the resources that i followed.
congratulations! Do you mind sharing your first-attempt enthuware test scores?
I tried all the mock tests only once. I kept special precedence to practice attempting all the questions within 90 mins.
I received scores between 52% to 84%. My last five scores were 75%, 73%, 69%, 84%, 73%. I even scored similar marks in the exam. I could have done better but i think in the end i am satisfied that i passed.
