Hey everyone.

I just tried to upgrade to the current version of struts from 2.5.20. I'm using a wildcard mapping for one of my action classes, and now it isnt working.

Before, when opening a link like applications/proxy/someType it would call setType, but now it is never called.

I've tried changing around the namespace/action name, but no luck so far. any ideas?

I apologize if I'm off the wall, but I've never worked with annotations in Struts.  Shouldn't your namespace have a wildcard (the '*' character or a parameter in curly brackets) in it?
Look at the examples here

Okay I found the cause of the problem last night. they made a change and didn't update the documentation in that link you posted. you need to set struts.matcher.appendNamedParameters to true if you want to use the parameters like {TYPE} or {PARAM_NAME}
