As a working student I have to develope tests classes or functions in existing test classes.
There are many test classes and functions which are done by professionals, so I can just copy paste the logic, if I would undestand the logic...
Sometimes it's really easy with just filling the class with parameters and then to assert if parameters are same with given.
But sometimes there are plenty of methods like expect, replay, reset, mock and so on, so I undestand just nothing!
I still do not understand the concept of mocking - why should I do that and how to use it?
How to learn fast about these things? Learning by doing is not working as I see. So maybe somebody can suggest me a book?
Or other possibilities, how to learn faster the basics? I have to complete my work
Being a smart alec beats the alternative. This tiny ad knows what I'm talking about:
SKIP - a book about connecting industrious people with elderly land owners
