Any hints on what to look out for when the WAS server keeps crashing with the javaw.exe application error?

Hello Jeff,
Any hints regarding your OS, version of the App Server, etc? Perhaps a few more details with regard to the "crash"?

OS is Win2K
I'm running
WebSphere Studio Application Developer (Windows)
Version: 5.0.0
Build id: 20021125_2118
The problem seems happen when I launch the test server for one of my application in WSAD. It server starts successfully , and then roughly 2 secs after , the windows error message pops up.

Great.
I have a Win2K machine here beside me. One thing you might want to do (presuming you have some broadband connection), is go to version 5.0.1, build id 20030423_1316. It fixes stuff. From the main menu use Help > Software Updates > New Updates. Take all of the available update. This may not fix your problem but I would still recommend you doing it. It takes a while... sorry 'bout that.
Next, I am wondering what you are seeing in the console. Anything there?
One final thought, how many javaw.exe's have you got running? You might want to reboot winders.

These are not the droids you are looking for. Perhaps I can interest you in a tiny ad?
