Creating starter - exposing endpoint and location business logic

Hi all,
I am creating my own starter and have some questions in my mind. I need to expose a endpoint like eureka-starter did with their /eureka endpoint and also need to generate some code and do some operations with the generated model. What kind of module structure should I follow?
