Hi all-
I am trying to configure my WSAD 5 to use an external web server so I can push static content to it and not have the app server serve up static files I have downloaded Apache 2 and configured it to use port 9080. I have created a test server and (under server settings) configured port 9080 to be external. Obviously I am guessing as it doesn't work - I get a conflict. I have tried starting Apache before and after WSAD server but no luck.
thank you,
Max Tomlinson

This isn't really supported under WSAD max. Standard WebSphere Application Server yes, WSAD, no.

Ok, thanks Kyle-
For some strange reason I thought I had done this under WSAD 4.0.
So it looks like I have to turn file serving enabled to false and deploy separately under WAS and test there.
Thanks
Max

Yup. That's your best bet.
