Hi,
We have WebSphere authenticating users with external LDAP.
My question is about if is possible to have an alternate LDAP for backup purposes. The idea is to have an slave LDAP which is pointed by WebSphere only if master LDAP is out of order.
Any hint?
Thanks
Ignacio

The only way to do this is to write a custom user registry that allows for a backup LDAP when the first can't be reached. We've implemented this at several customers already. This is not a feature of the product as it stands today.
