I guess they expected you to fully know about Websphere and WebLogic.
Go ahead and study both in order to cover any future possible question and not just deployment.

Thanks for the advise and looking at ur certifications and experience , can u suggest good books for WebLogic and WebSphere?

Which one to start with ? WL or WS ??

I am now studying SAMS Techurself J2EE and expecting to complete it soon.
