Kid's year 1 (5 or 6 years old) curriculum, and I see there is a computing class included.

That looks decent to me. Doesn't it? I see some BSc programmes could step up.

  • And of course they could add: For more information: coderanch.com

So there is plenty to improve. But not a bad start.

Good to get kids to think in terms of steps. When I was at primary school, Sir asked us a question to demontrate how you need all the steps: “How would you tell a stranger to the area how to get to the public library?”
“Take a No 42 bus from Ashcroft.”
“But they are from outside the area; they don't know where Ashcroft is.”
Ashcroft is one street away from the school. I was surprised that anybody would take a bus for such a chert journey.

I always like to begin my google searches with "Dear Mr Google, I would very much appreciate it if you could have a look for the following information. Thank you." It's only polite, really.
