Hi,

I am using Network deployment manager to deploy apps. I need to create J2C Authentication Data at different node. I did this by login in admin console->security->JAAS Configuration->J2CAuthentication Data, and then click new to create a new entry, but there is no way to specify the node. The alias I created is always like MyPcName/some alias name like "w73hic401063Manager/CLHIIS", is there a way to specify the node?

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help!

The alias is really not pinned to the node. The prefix you are seeing is actually something done by the admin console GUI. If you use wsadmin for example, it does not prepend the node name of the deployment manager. In anycase, when you define a resource, you should be able to use the alias on any scope
