Did not see a download of WAS 6 for Linux on IBM site. Does such exist? Am new to WAS. Been using BEA WLS at work for a while, want to mess w/ WAS at home. How long has v6 been out?

It hasn't been released yet.
The only version available is a preview "for developers" as they call it, it's for the windows platform only.
I'm expecting it sometime around mid-december (but don't take my word for it since I don't work for IBM).

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
