Where are my console messages

Hi,

In a new install of WSAD 5.1.2, I get no console messages when starting a server. Also, I see that I have no stdout.txt file, although not sure if one has to do with the other.

stdout and stderr should be under [install location]\WebSphere\AppServer\logs\[server name]\
