Hi...I am creating a client application that I am deploying as a JAR file for users to have as a utility. In the application I am connecting to SQL 2000. My question is how do I deploy this so that when I give the JAR to other users they don't have to have the drivers installed on their machine and the CLASSPATH set, etc. ??? I just want to give them the JAR and they are ready to go. I imported the SQL Driver JARS and I am able to connect to the database but when I export the JAR it can't connect to the DB.

Tim,
Welcome to JavaRanch!

In the future, please do not cross-post the same question in multiple forums. Please continue discussion in JDBC thread.

Thanks,
Jeanne
