Hi folks,
I've been getting the following error when I start my test server (WAS 5.1) in WSAD. I know I must have changed something about either the applications or the server itself but I don't know what so any suggestions would be appreciated :

Something's definitely screwed up, WebSphere creates mBean entries as part of its start up and management. If possible, I'd suggest using the Profile Wizard to create a new profile. It'll give you a fresh start and its far easier than reinstalling WAS.

You have jmxri.jar and jmxtools.jar in your class path. Somehow Websphere does not like these jars as it uses jmx internally and has a file it wants to use. I can not figure out how to get past the problem and still use jmx. To get your server working again rename the two jars mentioned above and start the server and then remove them from the classpath.

I think he's gonna try to grab my monkey. Do we have a monkey outfit for this tiny ad?
