UnderStanding Log Error And Debug

Hello

Friends I am new to WebSphere Portal and working on WebSphere Studio Site Developer. On WebSphere Studio Site Developer I had run some of the small example and finally I come to develop a small project.

After developing the project I am unable to run it. No error is displayed on console also in log file just a message that your application not start.

Plz guide how to debug.
Also in debug I get to option step into or skip. If I select step into it will not responce for long or forever.

Help in this stage is highly Appriciated.
