hi frnds,
i am new to Websphere. and i have WAS v5 on windows XP professional.
i was trying to work with wsadmin and its throwing me the following error.

WASX7023E: Error creating "SOAP" connection to host "localhost"; exception infor
mation: com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.ConnectorNotAvailableException
WASX7213I: This scripting client is not connected to a server process.

Here is a post I made around using the wsadmin commands with WebSphere Studio in which Scott was able to help.

If you start up your server you should at the least be able to invoke the stopserver jacl/jython command ?
