I am using WSAD 5.1.2 and connecting to SQL Server 2000 database.
Initially thru WSAD we setup Data Source and used Generic Userid to connect to database. It came successful.
(Before we used a Generic Userid, we were getting Socket error. But, since we started using Generic Userid, the connection was successful).
After that we have done following two things and now we get Socket error again. Will appreciate any help!
1. We had changed Data Source to go to a different database. Then we changed the Data Source to connect to again original database. But, stll it gives us Socket error.
2. We have added a second generic user on the Database. Will that cause this issue?

What causes WSAD & SQL connection to cause "Error establishing socket" ?
Can you throw some light?
