steps 4 installation of WAS6 on RedHat Linux

I did installation of WAS V6 in Windows but i never worked on linux platform, Please somebody guide me the steps for installation of WAS V6 on Red-hat Linux from step.1.

I think you'll find the installation very similar and straght forward.

Running the setup shell bring up the installation tool. IBM calls it the universal super duper run everywhere installation tool becuase they use it on just about every platform. You'll actually see the setup options in a web page, and from those, you do the installation.

As I said, I think you'll find the installation on Linux extremely similar to the installation on Windows, minus to option to run WAS as a Windows Service, of course.
