Hi,
First of all thanks for ur help. Now I have created Tomcat service successfully on my WinNT4.0
And I have also tested it by typing (http://127.0.0.1:8080)in address bar of IE and it also shows me the home page of Tomcat server. Iam using tomcat server for my swing application which is basically a uploading software and Iam using servlet. My problem is when iam trying to access tomcat from my local network computer it is giving me error "java.lang.IOException:Error writing on server" but I have checked tomcat through IE(http://192.168.3.1:8080) from my network computer it is showing me the home page of Tomcat server. But when i use tomcat not as NT service(means just running my Tomcat server by executing batch file) my application working fine.I tried to find out the reason but couldn't.If u have any solution about it plz extend to me.
Thanks and Regards
Bikash

Those symptoms sure sound like a directory write permission is being denied when running as a service.
