I installed MySql 4.0.15 from mysql.com and also connector/j 2.0.when i write some java program(with out use of servlets) my jdbc program working fine. (with connector/j 3.0 i faced lot of problems so i am using 2.0)
And also i am able run my tomcat and servlet programs perfectly.
