Dear All,

I want to log to Tomcat from a different PC. How can I do that? For example, my computer name is "homePC" and the url on it is "http://localhost:8080/project" how can i open this URL from a different computer.

Thanks a lot

Maha

If they are both on the same windows network, that might work.
If not, find out the ip of your machine by opening a command prompt and typing :

and use
http://YOUR_IP:8080/project

To connect from the internet, you will need to find out the IP of your network, and configure your router to forward port 8080 from outside requests to your specific machine. (This, of course, assumes you're using a router and are not connected directly to the internet).

Hi,
Apart from router config check out Windows Firewall setting. In Exception Tab add Tomcat and Add port.
