hi,

Problem: Tomcat Manager does not list *.war. I thought there is a problem with permission so I gave complete access with chmod 777. But didnt work.

I can upload the war using Tomcat web console. The war gets loaded, also explodes correctly. But its neither listed in the manager, not can I access it over the URL.

The Tomcat Installation was different than the standard windows tomcat installation.

Setup -> Debian + Tomcat 5.5
Installation Folders
/usr/share/tomcat5.5/
bin
common
conf
...

/var/lib/tomcat5.5/
webapps

Is this installation a problem? ( I believe Debian installed it this way)
or do I need to set a specific configuration?

Thanks in advance.
